Krag is the first extrasolar colony that is part of the Cetian Consortium. In the years following Cetian first contact with the Tellusian Chinese, this planet was discovered and quickly colonized. The similar physical characteristics of Krag compared to Cestisus made this planet an ideal location for Cetian expansion.

The planet and its seventeen communities are classified as Tier III at this time. The construction of the Shude Heshi Transit Station has brought an improved standard of living for the residents of Krag.
